Greenland and SAW Joint Venture Awarded Fuel Facility Construction Project at Columbus Air Force Base

The Joint Venture between Greenland Enterprises, Inc. and SAW Contracting, Inc. was recently awarded a $14.9M project to replace the fuel facility at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.

The project includes constructing a new fueling facility, which will include three 50,000-gallon double-walled above ground horizontal storage tanks, tank-mounted pumps, a filter separator shelter, truck fill stands, recovery tank and additional related infrastructure. In addition to the work at the fueling facility, the project includes replacing transfer pumps at a bulk fuel facility, along with other mechanical and electrical modifications to support the new systems.

The completed project will provide 150,000 gallons of on-site fuel storage capacity.
