Two new high-efficiency packaged boilers were recently set at a Nebraska-based healthcare facility. Greenland is retrofitting the existing district heating plant with new boilers, controls and piping infrastructure.
Our crews removed the windows on the historical boiler plant building to facilitate rigging and setting the new boilers in place. In lieu of replacing the windows, Greenland offered the facility a “betterment” to install a new coiling door. The new door will allow for easier maintenance and access into the building in the future.
The project is a joint venture between Greenland Enterprises, Inc. and SAW Contracting, Inc. The team anticipates firing the new boilers and completing the commissioning and turnover process in the fourth quarter of 2020.
