The Joint Venture team of SAW Contracting and Greenland Enterprises recently hosted a topping out ceremony for the boiler replacement project at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. The ceremony marked their significant project milestone of placing the last beam atop the structure during construction.
Construction will now proceed to the interior spaces as the team installs three fire tube boilers, new controls, and related systems. The boilers will provide steam for the medical center campus.
SAW and Greenland invited approximately 75 key stakeholders and trade partners to the celebration, and thanked everyone involved for their hard work and dedication in reaching this major milestone.
