Greenland was the Construction Manager responsible for orchestrating the field assembly of a 5,000 SF, 1,250-Ton modular chiller plant at the Jamaica Plain VA Medical Center in Boston, MA. This required the sequential placement of fourteen modules, each approximately 25 ft. long by 14 ft. wide, and each weighing upwards of 53,000 lbs. Each module was packed and shipped from the factory in Ohio to a storage yard outside of Boston, before being threaded through the streets of Boston, in a carefully orchestrated operation, en route to the Medical Center. Final placement was conducted over a single weekend in order to minimize any disruption to facility operations.
