Greenland Enterprises is proud to announce that SGJV2 – a joint venture between SAW Contracting and Greenland Enterprises – has been awarded a major federal construction project.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs selected the team to deliver the $77.6M Design-Build Central Utility Plant (CUP) project at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, Nevada.
This 11,000 GSF new vertical construction effort will create the centralized energy hub for the campus, housing a new chiller plant and boiler plant that will distribute chilled water and steam to support critical healthcare operations.
Designed to meet LEED certification standards, the facility integrates sustainability and resiliency features – including infrastructure for process water storage and bulk oxygen supply – ensuring reliable service delivery for years to come.
Greenland is honored to support the VA’s mission through the delivery of essential infrastructure that strengthens healthcare systems, promotes energy efficiency, and provides long-term operational security for those who have served our nation.
