The SAW-Greenland joint venture team recently reached a project milestone at the VA Medical Center in Pineville, LA with the setting of two of three 600 HP firetube boilers. An additional mobilization involves setting the third boiler and associated equipment.
SGJV, LLC was selected to replace the boiler plant and steam distribution system at the medical center, which involves renovating the existing 8,000 SF boiler plant and constructing a 2,000+ SF addition. The expanded area will house a new 400 kW emergency generator, electrical equipment room, control room, and personnel facilities.
