Greenland Enterprises has been awarded a $6.8 M contract for the demolition of existing structures and installing four, two-megawatt, 12.2 Kv generators at the Veterans Administration Medical Center facility in Richmond, VA.
The project includes removing the current generator structures, relocating underground utilities and preparing the site for new construction. That work will be followed building new concrete pads, preparing switchgear and other equipment and installing and commissioning the four new generators. The project is expected to be completed by October, 2019.
