In July 2015, Greenland orchestrated the field assembly of a 5,000 sq. ft., 1,250-ton packaged chiller plant at the VA Medical Center in Jamaica Plain, MA. This required the sequential placement of 14 modules, each approximately 25 ft. long by 14 ft. wide, and each weighing upwards of 53,000 pounds. Each module was packed and shipped from the factory in Ohio to a storage yard outside Boston – before being threaded through the streets of Boston in a carefully orchestrated operation on their way to the VA Medical Center in Jamaica Plain. Final placement was conducted over a single weekend, to minimize any disruption to facility operations.
